FIVE CENTURIES OF ARENBERG COME TO LIFE

The word ‘noble’ may conjure up an image of opulent stately homes, glittering balls and lavish hunting and shooting parties, but that is only a small part of the much broader reality. The influential Arenberg dynasty left its mark on Leuven and far beyond.

The festival brings to life the story of the Arenbergs in a large-scale total event: a spectacular opening weekend, two exhibitions plus a programme of other events in and around Leuven.

A programma with noble allures

The word ‘noble’ may conjure up an image of opulent stately homes, glittering balls and lavish hunting and shooting parties, but that is only a small part of the much broader reality. The influential Arenberg dynasty left its mark on Leuven and far beyond. Those keen to gain a better understanding of the aristocratic world will make extraordinary discoveries at the Arenberg Festival in Leuven, where five centuries of Arenbergs come to life.
